When a company engages Outpace for outplacement services, they may provide us with:

  • Company name, contact information, and billing details
  • Employee names, email addresses, and job titles
  • Employment history and department information
  • Any additional context about the transition program

Information provided by employees

When employees use our AI coaching platform, they may provide:

  • Resume and career history details
  • Skills, qualifications, and certifications
  • Career goals and preferences
  • Conversation content with our AI career coach
  • Job search activity and preferences

Information collected automatically

  • Device information (browser type, operating system)
  • Usage data (pages visited, features used, time spent)
  • IP address and approximate location
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and personalize our AI-powered career coaching services
  • Generate tailored resume recommendations and career guidance

  • With employer clients: We provide aggregated engagement and outcome reports to the companies that sponsor outplacement services. These reports do not include the content of individual coaching conversations.
  • Service providers: We work with trusted third-party providers for hosting, analytics, and payment processing who are contractually bound to protect your data.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, or legal process.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, typically for the duration of the outplacement engagement plus 12 months. After this period, data is either anonymized or securely deleted. Employer clients may request earlier deletion of employee data in accordance with their service agreement.
